Why is it risky to idolize certain sports stars?

American youth idolize their sports stars. They have already a lot of such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of nowadays: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their every move.
Is it safe to idolize sports stars of today? It can be risky. Nowadays sports heroes earn millions of dollars due to intake of steroids. However the NFL and the MLB fight against intake of forbidden medicines, the war seems to lack success. Usage of steroids like cancer destructs sports. Although American youth are educated about dangerous side symptoms of these preparations, the results are not good.
It is believed that youth are suppressed to take steroids. They try to meet the needed criteria of college admission; they adore current professional sportspeople. The all these aspects promote administrating steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to have success. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to win and to continue to play professionally. Children realize that it is difficult to do it. Which are the results? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth.  Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to cheat in order to be successful. College admission levels have been reduced due to budget cuts. The Recovery Place supposes that it may cause the situation, when high school students will look for other methods to be able to stand out among crowds. Doping can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative way.
American youth observe that numerous professional sportspeople have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and hard workouts; others applied steroids and other related preparations. If American youth follow those who dope, which will be the consequences?
Prolonged usage of steroids can cause addiction to these drugs.  Moreover, users of steroids can suffer from such negative results, as liver dysfunctions, cancer, hypertension, icterus, kidney disorders and bad cholesterol. These side results are considered to be dangerous; they can threaten to life.
Undoubtedly, parents don’t desire to see their children with health problems. They want their children to achieve goals due to devotion to sports and intensive trainings. But it is difficult to do it because many others lie, taking steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These drugs shouldn’t disturb to reach our goals.

When will the steroid era over for baseball?

There is a theme which promotes hot discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, in case they hear about steroids and their influence on this sport. So, if you desire to cause heated debates, you just need to notice that several superstars win due to usage of steroids.
Different persons have different points of view, when it comes to the topic about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to understand why several people that play baseball use steroids. Do they play baseball just for money? Are they so blinded by money and praise that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those who don’t dope and win because of natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards that are not lured to use controlled substances for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that users of steroids must not be elected for the Hall of Fame. It represents attempt to escape from shame related to the steroid era. You may observe efforts to leave all negative effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to condemn users of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong perception is created here. The steroid era is not behind us yet. Those that think that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everyone knows that many baseball players have taken anabolic steroids and other related drugs. Furthermore, no one doubts that nowadays there are such baseball players who continue to use forbidden medications. Numerous people debate whether a player with average skills may transform in a great player due to intake of banned medicines. Some individuals claim that without appropriate talents steroids don’t profit. Talents must present. Others do not agree with this affirmation. They confirm that steroids may increase performance whatever talent an athlete has.
But the problem is that we blame players that dope alone. But not only athletes must be condemned for the steroid era. Everybody knows what happens really during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is over. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Intake of steroids is still deeply in the heart of baseball. Decisive efforts should present to be sure that doping doesn’t affect baseball longer.

All Dominicans are tested for steroids for playing in the MLB

The Major League Baseball put efforts to stop using steroids. It wants to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be able to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are used and clearly observed is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family drives. Unluckily, numerous individuals are lured to use steroids and other related medicines to achieve their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which numerous persons use steroids and other drugs which promote performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has taken steroids or other related preparations. Of course, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody fears to be caught taking any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests athletes from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur athletes from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those who dope.
It is said that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health related to steroids. They are taught about negative consequences that may be caused by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this case. The average salary is about 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To receive a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a real achievement for any Dominican. That’s why sportspeople from this location are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They want to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to obtain it for well-being of their families and for better life in future. Getting a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal conditions of life, from travelling by public transport to driving own car.
Actually, administration of steroids is not a problem just in that is limited within the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one sportsperson can be sure whether he competes against a person that has natural skills and talents or against an individual that uses steroids and other related medicines. That’s why it is important to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth must be taught about dangers linked with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or just in the U. S. but everywhere.

Today many baseball players don’t care about their reputation

The Major League Baseball survived some troublesome periods of time. It survived two situations that are considered to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Nowadays the MLB experiences steroid era. It is widely believed that it will have ability to survive this period too. There was a case that had a significant impact on baseball as well. It was the case connected with Barry Bonds.
Of course, Barry Bonds was not the only baseball player that took medicines that increase performance. Furthermore, he is not the last of them. A lot of baseball players have administrated banned preparations to increase performance. A lot of baseball players have gotten awards and millions of dollars due to usage of controlled substances.
The sums of money which may be obtained justify the risks connected with administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players that apply banned medicines do not care so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about obtaining of money. Such people are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot debates about the steroid era in baseball.
Nobody may doubt that any baseball player who uses steroids destroys his honor. It is made just for money. Such player trades own honor only for obtaining money.
Nonetheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. Many baseball players have talents and appropriate skills; they train intensively and dedicate themselves totally to this sport. They are honest individuals. They keep their image. Such players love baseball truly. They do not care only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by real love to baseball.
Generally, the MLB bans steroids. But unfortunately, there are individuals in each sport that profit from intake of steroids.
Our hope is light: we believe that the day comes, when we’ll observe athletes that compete not because of usage of steroids and other related drugs but due to natural talents, skills and hard trainings.

Steroids, steroids and steroids…

The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely debated by a lot of people. Every day numerous articles are written about these drugs. You read news that report about people who take steroids. You come across stories about those who are caught selling steroids and sentenced to probation or imprisonment. Although steroids are recommended for many people to cure them from some diseases, administration of these medicines for enhancement of performance is more widely spread. It seems that it corrupts the whole world.
People are controlled by money. If they can earn money due to sales or administration of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They apply and distribute these products, although they are considered to be illicit in certain countries. A lot of people break steroid laws because they can get money, selling and/or taking steroids.
It is undoubtedly that you have read certain articles about wrestlers that have applied forbidden preparations for many years. Some of consumers died of sudden attacks, being young. But nobody wants to acknowledge that fatal situations happen because steroids. Numerous persons deny links between severe medical conditions and intake of steroids.
The Major League Baseball desires to escape from steroid era. We believe that the time comes, when baseball will be played without steroids and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to performance-enhancing drugs.
It is impossible to be sure that you comprehend how wide spread intake of forbidden medicines is in professional and non-professional sports. Intake of steroids by competitive sportspeople is cheating. If athletes take medicines which increase performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any consumer of steroids who goes info sports should define whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she must have another job. Everyone should do the job he/she really is able to do. So, if you can’t play football, you must choose another job.
There is a hope that usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be stopped in sports. It may be that this time will be soon in the future. Who knows?

Who is punished for violation of steroid laws?

The laws which criminalize administration of anabolic steroids have appeared not without any reason. They turned out to be responses to widespread usage of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies thought that ban of steroids would keep professional athletes far from administration of illegal drugs. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive sportspersons insignificantly.
The steroid laws commonly don’t prosecute sportspeople that administrate illegal preparations. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspersons and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of violation of these laws.
This is not only one’s opinion. This is reality. Let think: who is sentenced to jail because of selling steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5 months in jail because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a health care provider. In fact, this person wasn’t the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this doctor informed federal investigators that her husband was implicated in operations of black steroid market. So, the statement of this woman led to the situation, when the doctor was investigated.
In fact, Rivers was a supplier of steroids for short period of time. This man sold these medicines to his friends. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, noted that his client had recognized his guilty totally and taken the whole responsibility for his illegal operations.  The attorney claimed that Rivers was a good man. However he violated the steroid laws, he recognized the risks and admitted to his guilty.
The attorney for Rivers Ashley asked the judge to sentence Rivers Ashley just to probation.  Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 children that were adopted by him  and 3 children of his disabled brother. Moreover, Ashley Rivers gave about 40, 000 dollars for people that lost their homes due to tornadoes. It would be better, if he were sentenced to probation. This person would continue his work for his family and other persons.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, refused the request of the defense attorney for River. He claimed that this person committed a serious crime and he must serve time in jail. Although the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney  at the beginning, finally he made the decision to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5-month imprisonment.
You may recognize that steroid laws don’t influence on professional athletes.

Will Jose Canseco play in the MLB again?

Jose Canseco is a Cuban-American former player of the Major League Baseball. This player was banned for administration of steroids. This person wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noticed that many players of the MLB doped.
Now Jose Canseco has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. He has proclaimed about his dreams to play in the MLB again. This person has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
Jose Canseco has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. This person was probably blackballed by baseball because of his comments linked with steroids and presented in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”.  He has called himself the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these medicines in baseball. Jose Canseco openly admitted in his book that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other preparations that have performance-enhancing effects. Jose Canseco mentioned also names of other baseball players who used steroids. Such individuals, as  Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were named by Jose Canseco.
In spite of the fact that anabolic steroids can be purchased without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are banned in MLB.
According to several sources, Jose Canseco will be tested for banned medications by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
Jose Canseco confirms that he has stopped taking steroids several years ago. According to certain sources, since discontinuing using steroids it had been indicated testosterone replacement therapy for him to treat some troubles connected with low level of testosterone.
Jose Canseco noted that he had experienced several negative results because of intake of steroids. So, his physician had to prescribe him a testosterone gel to relieve from low sex drive and depression.
While he tried to restore his natural testosterone production, he got several troubles with laws. This person was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing HCG at the international border. Jose Canseco’s house was raided by police officers but no any steroids were found.
Although Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he tries to continue playing professional baseball.

If steroids are taken by fighters, they increase potential risks connected with mixed martial art

Certain mixed martial artists have publicly acknowledged that they use anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) which has been indicated by physicians. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer believes that this factor has created an impression among major individuals that steroid exemptions are given to permit MMA fighters to take the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting the executive director of the NSAC noted that several people believed that any fighter could obtain exemptions for administration of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to Keith Kizer,  it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption  will be approved.
TRT is a treatment which is required for adult males who have hypogonadism (reduced levels of testosterone). If sportspersons correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to use steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for fighter that desire to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for intake of steroids. An athlete must have the document that displays that blood levels of testosterone are reduced.  But if a fighter has low level of testosterone, it is not enough to get a TUE. Treating physicians should identify reasons and medical conditions. The details linked with testosterone replacement therapy must be described by physicians as well. Every detail should display that certain sportsperson should  use testosterone for therapeutic purposes and usage of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the fighter.
Certain top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have taken steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson are included in the group of stars who use steroids for medical purposes.
The executive director of the NSAC claims that prohibition of steroids makes MMA safer. He notes that if a fighter administrates steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is applied knuckles that are hidden inside gloves.  Thus, this is not just lying. This factor is connected with risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will observe it, this person will ask you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such sportsperson takes steroids.
No one doubts that steroid use has possible risks to enhance the harm that can be caused in MMA.

A boy that has been injected with steroids by his father doesn’t believe that his father has changed his opinion about steroids after the release from prison

James Gahan injected Corey Gahan, his teenage son of 13 years old, with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy became an inline skating champion at the national level. Corey Gahan won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also obtained the 2nd  place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
James Gahan pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his small son. This person cooperated with a coach from Florida to supply the young athlete with testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. This person was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he was sentenced to 6-year imprisonment.
Since he had already served his time in a prison, he was released. James Gahan started to claim that his attitude to steroids and other banned preparations had been changed completely. He discussed with high school athletes about risks connected with usage of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which he had  been ordered by the court.
James Gahan said nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his son. James Gahan noted just about own experiences with these products. He noticed that if one desired to see undesirable results of anabolic steroids, he might display them because he took these medications. James Gahan noted that he took 45 tablets daily and his insides had eroded.
In fact, he didn’t explain what he meant, saying that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He said nothing about his illness that required 45 pills per day!
James Gahan said about his son that he had known everything they had done. But he noted that since he was the father, he took the total responsibility upon himself. But he concluded that it would be better for Corey to admit that he had lied.
But Corey doesn’t want to communicate with his father that has injected him with steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for injecting him with steroids; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Colin Daynes doesn’t worry that people may judge him

A Greco-Roman wrestler, Colin Daynes, intended to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. But his dreams will not be real. Intake of controlled substances became a reason for it. This wrestler was caught using steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports reported that Colin Daynes had tested positive for such prohibited medications, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids which are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. As for Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This product is usually taken in combinations with certain others to minimize fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix belongs to the class of diuretics. Wrestlers use this drug as well as other diuretics to lose body weight in order to correspond to requirements of certain weight classes.
Colin Daynes admitted that he had administrated anabolic steroids and other banned drugs intentionally. He said that he had taken these medicines to receive recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury.  But he added that he hadn’t known that these products were prohibited by the WADA. Daynes blamed his physician for this aspect. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor that advised him using these medications. Colin Daynes noticed that if he had known that the drugs were prohibited, he would not have competed.
This wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he intended to participate in the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t participate in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify at the international level. Recently this wrestler won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and had to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to intake of controlled substances Colin Daynes has received 2-year ban. It means that colin Daynes is not allowed to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends too.
Colin Daynes reported that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people might judge him, if they wanted to do it after his 25-year successful career and everything he had done.

Why was the case of Armstrong closed?

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is proclaimed to be closed. This athlete remains to be considered a 7-time winner at Tour de France.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to define whether this racing cyclist and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The duration of the investigation has been approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used controlled substances. The accusations against this cyclist threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this athlete used steroids were in vain.
Lance Armstrong said that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office decided to close the investigation. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong claimed that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney proclaimed during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation linked with the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t notice about any reason of this decision. But he just said that previous similar investigations were also closed.
For example, the investigation linked with Barry Bonds was claimed to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors couldn’t prove that this athlete had cheated about intake of steroids. As for the case connected with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge announced about previous mistrial.
Investigators believed that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to determine whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Armstrong encouraged or induced doping.
In fact, prosecutors put efforts to find out whether Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong wasn’t required to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with usage of banned drugs. They claimed that they were shocked by the decision to close the case. They concluded that such situations happened due to possessing money and corruption.

Can steroids lead to brain cancer?

Norm Fost, the professor of Wisconsin’s University, claims about several common misconceptions linked with anabolic steroids. Although some specialists proclaim about dangerous and even life-threatening side results of anabolic steroids, Dr. Fost denies these affirmations, claiming that they lack any scientific basis.
But affirmations of this specialist are not so frequently quoted by media as affirmations about severe side reactions of steroids.  Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids aren’t so harmful, as it is believed, is noted once for every 500-time conclusion that steroids represent a real evil.
Furthermore, editors usually create a wrong perception among readers, writing the quotes of this specialist incorrectly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never confirmed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is well-known that these preparations can cause different side reactions. Norm fost doesn’t deny risks of occurring  unwanted consequences. Actually, this specialist says some other things. He notes that probable risks of steroids are significantly exaggerated. Norm Fost denies the statement that steroids cause the rare type of brain cancer. According to several sources, this caused the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Dr. Fost notes that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado blamed his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally led to his death. Assertion of this player was the only evidence which supported the link between his intake of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, blaming anabolic steroids for his diseases? Couldn’t you find this aspect strange?
Actually, it was said that AIDS had affected his immune system and promoted destroying his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist noticed that Lyle Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma that was related to AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado was afraid that the public would proclaim that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma which was not linked with HIV or AIDS.
The doctor DeLoughery explained the case. He noticed that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While specialists disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer which Alzado had, no one of them confirmed about links between his brain lymphoma and intake of steroids.

Why couldn’t Anna Watson obtain a modeling contract?

Anna Watson, an university cheerleader of Georgia, noticed that she was pressured to take steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent indicated her to administrate Anavar in order to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This person was tempted but finally she refused to take steroids. She claimed that her body was “a temple” and she would not destroy it.
This person claimed that she had been tempted by usage of steroids numerous times. The agent made everything to present steroids as something good.
It was noticed that she would get a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she take steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson said that she talked to representatives of Elite Model Management in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such celebrated models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson  has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be implicated in the glamorous world. Furthermore, she refused to use steroids because this factor wasn’t in harmony with her religious principles. this lady confirmed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but God. Anna Watson added that she had been created as a nice creation. Anna Watson made a conclusion that she wouldn’t break her moral and religious principles just to take photos. She  decided not to destroy her health.
Several questions appear, reading these affirmations. One can ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models that have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw people’s attention by taking advantage of bad attitude to steroids?
It is evident that if Anna Watson gets 50 pounds of muscles, she will be able to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Athletes know that such sums of money are not received easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be obtained from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Women that are involved in bodybuilding fight greatly to get prize money. Women with muscular appearance are more likely to get money from “schmoes” (males that have sexual fetish for muscular women) than from the most prestigious modeling agencies.

Superdrol and Promagnon were some of ingredients that were contained in the supplement that was used by Lawal

King Mo Lawal admitted that he had used a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients that were synthetic steroids. According to this person and his manager, usage of this product led to positive for Masteron.
King Mo Lawal noticed during an interview for MMA Hour that he had purchased “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This supplement was manufactured by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of prohibited medicines are written on the label of S-Mass Lean Gainer. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of certain debates between anti-doping agencies and federal regulators since 2005. They are following:  2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These medicines are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first which manufactured Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was over 5 years ago. This company was charged with elaborating of a new unapproved preparation. Later this pharmaceutical company pleaded guilty and admitted that they had sold a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement.  As a result, Anabolic Resources had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also originally appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against the company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But this pharmaceutical company decided to discontinue producing this supplement in 2006.
However legal status of these two products is controversial, a lot of companies have manufactured and sold them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Of course, those that are involved in this industry know about the status of these supplements but they continue to offer them for sales.
Mike Kogan, the manager for King Mo Lawal, notices that the full responsibilities must be taken by the companies that market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He adds that such companies misguide consumers intentionally.

Ryan Braun, a baseball player, claims that he will prove his innocence

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a ban for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This sportsman didn’t acknowledge to administration of banned medicines. This player confirmed that he had become a victim of a false positive. This person fights against the results that have been announced.
However it has been lately discussed whether steroid users have right to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t forfeit their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted steroid users keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell proclaimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other steroid users were allowed also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these persons acknowledged that they had administrated steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had enhanced level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has indicated about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t show actual amount of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was applied by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was applied carbon isotope ratio testing that indicated about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Some sportswriters thought that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards because of the positives for steroids. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false accusations in usage of steroids.  Ryan Braun noted that characters of individuals are revealed in such situations of adversary. He confirmed that he had a great respect to baseball. He concluded that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Ryan Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t need to take steroids to be able to play. When this person found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was very surprised.  He mentioned that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about intake of prohibited medications.
Ryan Braun decided to fight against the results of his tests, saying that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He said that he would display his innocence and false positives.

Unusual doping in cycling

Administration of anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs is widespread among amateur and professional sportspeople. It isn’t surprisingly, if sportspersons test positive for prohibited medications. But there are certain unusual situations, when an individual tests positive for many prohibited medications. Here is an example.
Alexandre Dougnier, a teenage amateur French cyclist tested positive for more than 10 banned medicines, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This person has received 3-year ban from competitions.
It was determined that this young cyclist had administrated such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were discovered in his urine sample included  3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This young cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Several persons mention that this young cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a well-known individual of cycling’s history. He was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. He was the first cyclist that had won the Tour de France 5 times. This cyclist had received also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil used steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He noticed that it was impossible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. Jacques Anquetil claimed that only a fool individual would endure these conditions connected with the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This celebrated cyclist added that drug testing might deprive personal liberty. Jacques Anquetil said that everyone doped.
It is necessary to note steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Usage of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for administration of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past two decades.
Let mention which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught taking them. When Floyd Landis was caught applying testosterone, it was claimed by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were able to increase performance in cyclists.  As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this affirmation. He mentioned that usage of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, a person may apply testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone should take in consideration time of detection.
Alexandre Dougnier was not cautious and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suppose that cyclists would be tested for banned drugs at the race in Aubervilliers.

King Mo Lawal and his manager about Masteron

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t show their negative attitude to each other for several years. During an interview Lawal told about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t have good opinion about  Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson commented on the fact connected with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson said that it was quite obvious that King Mo Lawal had used steroids. He noted that King Mo was not a real fighter. He administrated steroids to be able to compete.
Quinton Rampage Jackson noted that there were fighters that were permitted to take steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person noted that it was a substantial difference between needs. Fighters and other athletes are permitted to use steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this fighter.
This fighter says that there are athletes who have several health problems. They talk to their physicians that prescribe steroids. They administrate these drugs in order to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But Jackson adds that there are fighters that use steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is too sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
However, administration of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by sportspeople is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had used steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter that claimed about permission to administrate steroids as a part of TRT by sportspersons. But there are other fighters who do not agree with this point of view. Many athletes have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They think that administration of steroids is just justified by medical reasons. They proclaim that all fighters who administrate anabolic steroids, noticing that they are on TRT, are liars.
Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both this mixed martial artist and his manager say that they are really surprised by the results of the test.
Fans were waiting for a fight between Jackson Rampage and Lawal. There were certain rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the hopes of fans were not justified. Lawal must serve a suspension.

Rousey explains why athletes take steroids

The UFC president Dana white announced about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He said that it was related to positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White confirmed that this condition would promote the ending of the whole division. Santos lost her title. That’s why the president of the UFC came to the conclusion related to the end of the division.
It is said that the president of the UFC didn’t suggest which would be the response of certain individuals to the Winstrol metabolites that had been found in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a great war would start on Twitter between celebrated female fighters.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey who is the top of female MMA featherweight and that has won the bronze medal in judo noticed about her dislike to administration of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her feelings about this issue public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. Rowdy Rousey pointed out that intake of steroids was caused by uncertainty of sportspersons in their skills, strength and abilities. This fighter explained that the decision to use performance-enhancing drugs came from the feelings that the individuals were not enough prepared to win in competitions. She confirmed that intake of steroids and other related products showed psychological weakness of users. According to this female mixed martial artist, this weakness promotes lying.
Rowdy Rousey noticed about her attitude to the suspension of Cyborg Santos during certain interviews. This fighter talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Cyborg Santos had applied banned medications. This female fighter said that she never had respect toward Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was happy to know out that Santos had been caught and suspended.
As for Santos, she became indignant because of Rousey’s words. She told her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after successful serving of the suspension by Santos. She believes that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following wordsto Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos hosted a photo of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t post the real photo. Instead of it, she used Photoshop to exaggerate the damages which were inflicted by her upon Gina Carano.
Rousey didn’t hesitate much time; she responded to the comments and the picture at once. She had rough words for Santos, blaming her for lying and for posting  the picture, using Photoshop.
A lot of individuals claim that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than certain real fights. It is said that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos in 2013.
