Lance Armstrong’s doping led to great loss for his charity organization

The USADA released a dossier linked with doping by the well-known American cyclist Lance Armstrong. According to the dossier, this sportsperson administered steroids and other related medicines. After publishing several sponsors that donated for Lance Armstrong’s charity organization Livestrong decided to cut their relations with this sportsman and his charity organization.
One of companies that decided to stop sponsoring the organization which fights against cancer is Nike. This company was working much time with the cyclist. Finally Nike confirmed that it would not have anything longer with the sportsperson who was cheating more than 10 years.
24 Hour Fitness also refused to work with Lance Armstrong anymore.
Certain other companies also made the decision to discontinue sponsoring Lance Armstrong’s foundation.
However, the athlete tried to do anything in order to prevent negative influence of his athletic reputation on the organization that helps individuals that suffer from cancer to survive. He affirmed that he would not be the chairman of the organization anymore. However the cyclist tried to keep sponsors, he couldn’t do it.
As for the USADA, it concluded that Lance Armstrong was found guilty of doping. As a result, he received lifetime ban. Furthermore, he forfeited all 7 titles obtained at Tour de France.
But the International Cycling Union (ICU) affirmed that the USADA made a wrong decision. Although Lance Armstrong stopped fighting against accusations pronounced by the USADA, the ICU said that it would appeal the decision even without involvement of the athlete.
Although Lance Armstrong never tested positive for any prohibited medicine, it was concluded that he was guilty of doping. It was confirmed that he took steroids and other prohibited medicines but he used certain simple as well sophisticated methods in order to avoid positives. Thus, he was capable to dope and remain undetectable.
Now Lance Armstrong pays for his doping. The decision of some companies to stop sponsoring his foundation is a great loss for this man.

Another supplement store that was searched was the AM Nutrition store. But it was not prosecuted because no any steroids were sold at the store.
Law enforcement officers plan to continue raids. Some drug stores and supplement stores may lose their licenses for illegal sale of steroids and other related medications.
