Wrestlers of High Schools from Connecticut don’t use steroids

The businessman Mark Mansa from Bethel (Connecticut)  was accused in selling anabolic steroids to students of High Schools from the Greater Danbury.
But it wasn’t proven yet whether it is so, as it has been proclaimed. Numerous individuals doubt that students of  High School wrestling have bought and applied forbidden preparations. High School wrestling is a preferred sport in Greater Danbury area. Positive attitude to this sport blinds a lot of persons completely. They don’t even suggest that it may be true that High School wrestlers have taken steroids, especially anabolic steroids.
Why are anabolic steroids stressed particularly? Anabolics are utilized to promote enhancing muscle mass in short period of time quite obviously. Thus, numerous persons claim that while High School students of other sports must have administered steroids, wrestlers don’t belong to their number. Their affirmation has been supported by Ricky Shook, a wrestling coach. His team is celebrated because of acquiring 10 State Open titles. The trainer  states that there is no any relation to steroids.
In fact, wrestlers cannot administer steroids or other related drugs for bulking effects because there are strict weight indications that are established and regulated by the CIAC.
The wrestler Matt Saraceno was asked about possibility of administering steroids by persons that are involved in this sport. This wrestler noted that there was no any possibility of taking steroids. He noted that steroids couldn’t help to keep the mass of the body down. He stated that it was impossible.
Thus, this wrestler contested statements of certain people about possibility of taking steroids in wrestling. Since steroids are taken for increase of muscle mass, it would be as a negative result for a wrestler who tries to store his body weight to meet criteria of certain weight class. In addition to this aspect, the rules connected with weight loss are very strict in wrestling. Even unessential changes in body weight may lead to a lot of problems. Sudden weight enhancing and increase of muscles will lead to several problems like sudden weight loss.
The CIAC states that wrestlers must avoid unhealthy loss of body weight. Only concrete amount of body mass can be lost during a season. The CIAC checks changing in weight of wrestlers. So, the risks related to intake of forbidden products are quite increased for wrestlers.
The wrestling coach Shook notes that he doesn’t want to train those who administer prohibited preparations, alcohol and tobacco. He confirms that he says these words every year during interviews for the New-Times.  Thus, the coach assures that he doesn’t coach any consumer of prohibited preparations. But if he observes such person in his team, he will inform about this case.
The trainer Shook claims that wrestling is healthy in comparison with its position in past time. They have a particular program. The wrestlers are submitted to to urine tests and hydration. This is the sport that performs more tests than any other sport that is in Connecticut.
However the trainer has acknowledged that  a wrestler could hide his application of steroids from him, but it is doubted.
So, wrestling prevents intake of forbidden preparations. We hope that it will continue to follow this way.
